What size motor homes do you have?
We have a variety of motorhomes available ranging from 2-berth up to 7-berth models in our fleet.

Are you allowed to freedom camp in New Zealand or do you have to stay at designated campgrounds?
Yes you can as long as there are no clear signs stating otherwise. If in doubt, check with the local Visitor Information kiosk. Always use commonsense and courtesy and please remember to take any rubbish for proper disposal later. Because our motorhomes are solar powered you can enjoy the comforts of freedom camping.

Are your motorhomes solar powered?
Yes.

Is there a minimum period for renting a motorhome?
Yes, our minimum rental period is 7 days.

I am looking for a one-way campervan hire, do you provide this service?
Yes we do! One-way rentals are available between Auckland and Christchurch or vice versa.

Two of us want to do the driving. Do you charge extra for this?
An extra driver fee of NZ$50.00 per additional driver is required.

Can I use my own Drivers License?
Yes, you can use your standard derivers license or International drivers license to drive any of our campervans or motorhomes. The license you chose to use must be in English.

What happens if we are late returning our motorhome?
If you think you are going to be late dropping off your motorhome please contact us in the first instance, otherwise late returns will be charged on a per day basis.

Do you suggest we pre-book our holiday park sites?
During the peak summer period, especially through Christmas/New Year we suggest you pre-book your campervan sites in advance if possible.

Do you have any age restrictions for driving your motorhomes?
Drivers must be 21 years of age or over. A medical certificate stating that the customer is fit to drive the vehicle they have booked for the duration of the hire is required for drivers over the age of 75.

We are New Zealanders and want to take a trip around New Zealand. Can we bring our little dog with us?
Unfortunately we do not permit ANY animals in our motorhomes.

What is included in your rates?
Included in our gross rates is standard cover insurance, one way fee (between Auckland and Christchurch), living equipment, breakdown assistance, 12.5% GST and campervan park guides.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations received more than 21 days prior to the date reservation will be refunded less a 3% administration fee. Reservations cancelled within the 7-21 day period incur a fee being 15% of rental value. Within 7 days 50% of hire will be charged. No shows 100% of hire will be charged.

Do I have to pay a deposit to confirm my booking?
Yes, we require a deposit of NZ$400 per rental which can be paid either by credit card, cash, cheque, or direct debit. Full payment is due 30 days prior to collection of the vehicle, unless prior arrangements have been made.

How can I amend or cancel my booking?
Should you wish to amend or cancel your existing booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Simply go to the Contact Us page that provides many options for contacting us. Please ensure you quote your confirmation number and one of our reservation consultants will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes. We treat the security of our guest’s information very seriously. To ensure your security, all credit card transactions are secured by SSL, which encrypts the credit card number so as to make it unavailable to any other party.

What currency will my Credit Card be charged?
New Zealand banking laws require that all credit card transactions be charged in New Zealand currency.
